Donations & Payments
Yes. Samvedana Foundation is registered under Section 12A and Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Indian donors are eligible for a 50% deduction on the donated amount under Section 80G. An official receipt is issued automatically after each donation for your records.
We accept UPI (BHIM, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit/credit cards, and net banking. All transactions are secured. For large corporate donations or cheque payments, please contact us at info@samvedana.org.
Absolutely. On our donation page, you can select from active campaigns — Education, Nutrition, Women's Vocational Training, or Medical Aid. You can also choose "General Fund" to allow us to allocate funds where the need is greatest.
There is no minimum required donation. Every rupee counts. Even ₹100 can provide a nutritious meal for a child for a full week at our Anganwadi program.
Volunteering
Fill out our Volunteer Application Form. Our team will review your skills and availability and reach out within 3–5 working days to schedule an orientation session.
No. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds — teachers, doctors, photographers, accountants, homemakers, students, and professionals. Even general volunteers who can help with event coordination or community outreach are invaluable.
Yes. Verified active volunteers who have contributed at least 10 hours of service receive a formal Certificate of Appreciation from Samvedana Foundation, signed by the Managing Trustee.
Programs & Impact
We currently serve communities in Adajan, Varachha, Katargam, Limbayat, Vesu, Udhna, and Althan areas of Surat. We are expanding to more zones and plan to reach 25+ wards by end of 2025.
At least 85% of every donation goes directly to program expenses. The remaining is used for administrative operations. We publish annual financial statements audited by a Chartered Accountant. All transactions are trackable via your unique transaction ID.
Yes, we actively partner with companies for CSR collaboration under Section 135 of the Companies Act. We offer customized project reports, photo/video documentation, and co-branding opportunities. Write to us at info@samvedana.org for a proposal.
